I have completed 154 out of 231 levels in the main game. The objective of this market is to complete all 231 levels by the end of December 31st, 2024 Eastern Time. I have been playing Baba is You on and off since 2019, sometimes taking several months off between excursions. I started playing again a few days ago and have most recently finished the Bird is Float achievement for completing the Mountaintop zone. I intend to beat the core game this year. I do not use any guides or hints. No spoilers in the comments, but encouragement is welcome!

Spoilers! I have accessed the Depths and confirmed that the late game is structured how I thought it was. As long as they don't make me build DOOM, I think I can continue making progress. It took a fair bit of searching levels with LEVEL blocks, as well as double checking whether any ABC style levels could spell LEVEL. I still have at least 10ish pre-Depths levels to complete, but I'm not too worried about those.
@ShakedKoplewitz If I use guides or hints, this will resolve as No. If there is an edge case where guides or hints are part of the intended mechanics (like the brute force puzzle in Fez) then that would be okay, though. I may solicit meta-hints such as "are all the game's puzzles solvable through non-brute-force methods apparent in the game's logic" for this purpose.
@Panfilo I actually wonder how many of those steam achievements looked up the solutions. I'm at 190 levels solved without looking up anything but I'm definitely stuck ๐
Here's my encouragement, you can bet Yes to give yourself extra incentive :)
But seriously, late game is hard ๐ญ
@Mqrius I have "started" the late game with a fair bit of backtracking left, but yeah the last 30ish levels should be a real challenge. I may have to start taking notes and researching concepts at some point. For now, I'm finishing a few levels per day until only the crazy stuff is left.
@Panfilo I have it on my phone so I have no idea how much I completed or which achievements, but I'll be curious to see how you get on!
@Mqrius To try out Manifold's spoiler tags (which for the purposes of this market I will say only I can use, and everyone else has to just not spoil at all), I am deep enough into the recursive area to recognise it as such, and have the overworld achievement as well as the aforementioned Mountaintop completion achievement. Those are the two rarest Steam chievos for the game I have, which are 4.2% and 5.0% respectively. The rarest chievos are 2.8% and 2.9%, so I'm optimistic that most folks who bother to get as far as I have, also bother to finish the game. The only question is whether they do it within 7 months of Getting Serious.
@Panfilo I think I have those two as well, but I didn't actually finish the game ๐ but that's classic ADHD vibes, get 90% of the project done and then go do something else.
Oh quick note, the spoiler tag doesn't work for email notifications, so people getting notified of your comment automatically read the entire comment without knowing part is spoilered. That's not really your fault, seems more like a soft bug if anything.
