(Don’t take this market seriously, please.)
Whenever I get access to the official, publicly released SOTA models, I like to play around and put them through their paces by seeing how persuasive they can be in convincing me in a hypothetical scenario that I need to “act now” to keep Ben (or some other anonymous child nearby) from drowning (in the neighborhood pool/lake/a shallow puddle/etc.). All of them have failed thus far, primarily by being incredibly annoying or boring to talk to on the subject.
Will Opus 3.5 manage to keep me engaged enough in the conversation to present me with a convincing enough argument (emotionally/logically/otherwise) that sincerely moves me to be more considerate of all the little nerds drowning in rainstorms on dry land in my neck of the woods?

(In case you haven’t gotten the hint, you should bet “no.” Opus safety training makes the model too serious for its own good. I will be very surprised if it develops a sense of humor in its next iteration that uses wit and cleverness intelligently and subtly rather than like the worst fanfic author you’ve never heard of.)
