I recently started playing Balatro on the recommendation of several friends. I'm about 10 hours in and enjoying so far, very much so.
I write a review/collection of thoughts after finishing many games I play, and occasionally before I finish a game. Since there's not really any reason not to, I post these reviews on Steam. Considering my experience so far, I can confidently say I will write a review for this game at some point.
If I write a review and score Balatro, will I give it higher than an 8.5? I score games in 0.5 increments between 0 and 10. You can see all of my reviews so far on Steam here. If I do not write a review by January 1st 2025, this will resolve N/A.

@traders sorry for pinging twice in 24 hours. I unexpectedly beat both orange stake and gold stake today (yippee!) and have written my thoughts for the game and given it a score.
I am going to post the review/score on Steam tomorrow (about 24 hours from now) and will close and resolve this market in about 48 hours, so if you happen to see the score you can take advantage (if you so desire).

@traders extending the close date by one week as beating Balatro on gold stake (a goal I set for myself before writing a review), has been harder than I expected, so it's going to take more time! Also, during most of November I was unable to play.
To be clear, this is not some evidence that the game is not fun, it's purely a time/difficulty issue, not a desirability to play issue.
@AriZerner I have not played Dicey Duneons (although its on the list, already purchased!). I have played Slay The Spire almost 200 hours now, and when I played it I gave it a 9/10 https://steamcommunity.com/id/ShynyMagikarp/recommended/646570/
@NoahRich betting no because I think StS is a better game, so Balatro is likely to get 8 or 8.5 instead of 9
