Giving advice doesn't count. Operating a machine or performing any other urgent patient-related physical tasks counts, even/especially if it's just for a few minutes while something goes terribly wrong.
I don't know how much sleep Merrin needs after this sort of shift, but presumably someone in dath ilan will figure this out and tell us for how long they should avoid pinging her if things don't go terribly wrong.

That this is a medical drama showcasing Merrin being awesome, so it seems narratively likely that she's going to get involved again.
Given that she's staying to observe the procedure instead of going home immediately, I don't think she'll have a chance to get a night's sleep before things happen.
Since it's been established that Merrin's not particularly good at communicating her intuitions, she probably won't just contribute on an 'advice' level.
