Doubling down on a previous bet that I found really motivating. Challenge is to only read while exercisinhlg:

The 2 volume aristotle is around 2500 pages (so 2.5x schattenfroh) and the text is smaller and denser, so I'm only able to do about 75% the rate. Assuming I take one rest day a week, I'll need to read about 33 pages a day to hit the goal. This is on the very upper end of my current fitness level with not a lot of room for error, so it will be a challenge.

  • Update 2026-02-01 (PST) (AI summary of creator comment): Creator is very strongly leaning toward abandoning the Aristotle books for a different book due to finding them boring and losing interest in exercise.

650 pages in, but these books are brutally boring and making me lose interest in exercise, so I'm very strongly leaning toward abandoning them for a different book.

I'm on page 135 so around 5% complete, with 85 days to go. i'm feeling medium confident even though i'm a bit behind pace.
