Currently Forbes' estimate is $16.6 Bn for scale https://www.forbes.com/profile/sam-bankman-fried/ though liable to drop, that's what this question is about
I don’t see any reason why SBF might not come out of this in a better financial position personally. Getting 30 percent of Binance will be worth more than if he owned 100 percent of FTX after the deal. Also, I bet someone like Ken Griffin might entertain taking some assets to help SBF get leverage to negotiate a good deal. What was his most recent net worth?
@BTE He's not going to get 30% of Binance. Even if Binance buys FTX (currently looking unlikely), they're going to pay ~$0 for it.
