He is the only double world championship gold nominee and the first 100m 200m double gold since Bolt. These events are also especially high prestige in athletics and have arguably been favored in the past by this award.
In my view his main competitor is Kelvin Kiptum who made a large leap in the marathon world record this year and won 2 majors, which is about as much as you could accomplish in the marathon in a year.
I will bet on this market.

@NateWatson Gonna say he won World Track Athlete of the Year and no one really won it as it previously existed so NA. Spirit is did he win over Kiptum etc. Glad this one didn’t get a ton of bets!
