Tofurky recently filed a suit with the Animal Legal Defense Fund and the Good Food Institute against Texas' 'meat' labeling law in the US District Court for the Western District of Texas.

This market resolves YES if the US District Court for the Western District of Texas rules that the law is unconstitutional. This decision is independent of any decision made in another district. If the Western District of Texas refuses to hear the case, then this market resolves NO.

Thus far, Tofurky has already prevailed once in Arkansas.

I am uncertain when the US District Court will rule, so I have scheduled the closing for June of 2024. If the case is still ongoing, I will keep the market open for another six months. I am open to other arguments for the timing of market closure, as long as it occurs near when the case is settled.

I am extending this market as noted in the description, because the case is still ongoing.
