UPDATE: WAM is now 69.316, hard semester but next semester should be much easier. Need to average 72 over 5 subjects to finish with a 70.

I currently have an average mark of 69.438 in my Masters of Civil Engineering. I have 1 year left on my course and that consists of 8 subjects to complete. Which means I need to average a 71 over my remaining subjects.

For some information to inform you on myself as a student. Currently working full time as an engineer in my field, will scale this back to part time whilst doing full time University. Frankly my focus is mostly on professional development now, as I've got my foot in the door. University is definitely secondary to me at this point, however the skills learnt at my job are obviously transferable to University coursework. Hence I won't be actively trying to hit a certain score markers in my final year. My average mark last semester was 71.5. Frankly the only reason I am below 70 is because I did a math subject like 3 years ago at this point where I performed pretty poor. Luckily it's the only math subject I had to do. I usually sit right between a 70-74 range consistently. I won't be posting proof, or at least any proof I could post could easily be altered as I won't be handing out my full academic transcript for obvious reasons. I will give a progress update after my first semester, which will only consist of 3 subjects. Second semester will be 5.

I contemplated for a few days whether to resolve this N/A due to some wild unforeseen things happening a few months ago. Like you wouldn’t expect it to happen in multiple peoples lifetimes. But in the spirit of the question I have resolved it No. My final WAM was 69.917.

predictedYES

@NGK ain't no way haha

Updated weighted average mark: 69.316. Unfortunately my average mark has gone down by 0.122. Honestly more confident I’ll get it above 70 by year end - my subjects next semester are all assessment based so no exams. Tbh this was definitely the hardest semester I’ve done in terms of amount of work I had to do and splitting it between work and uni.

You got this buddy

I also will not be trading in the market.
