Tampa man has gone viral on TikTok for declaring he's riding out the hurricane on his 20 foot sailboat.
"he remains steadfast in his decision to ride out the hurricane on his boat, stating that "boats float" and that "God told him to be on the boat." The Tampa Mayor incorrectly announced that he was heading to a shelter, but Lieutenant Dan is still aboard his vessel, which has begun to drift from the pier in downtown Tampa."
We will resolve this by best available media reports within a week of the hurricane.
