Sleep competition among members of the Experimental Life Optimization (ELO) group at MIT.
This will resolve on Sunday 4/16. Winner will be determined by the participant with the maximum number of points summed up over seven nights of sleep. Participants need to log each night of sleep, and we are using the honor system.
Score is calculated by the number of hours you slept each night. Score = hours slept - 7.5. The minimum score is -7.5 (no sleep), and the maximum score is 1.5 (9 or more hours slept.) I believe this currently includes time in bed before sleep with the intention to sleep (lights out, no phone.) This may change.
Current scores here. I will try to resolve the market as soon as the result is known, and I am closing the market the night before.
I will not vote for anyone except myself, and I will not sell my shares. Other participants are also strongly encouraged to follow these rules.
