The question is open until January 2nd . Final test day for the pr is on January 1st. If this is achieved before the new year the question will resolve to YES if not then NO. For context I have been training with steel grippers for a bit. I have achieved 10 reps on each hand at 90kg(200lbs) however due to strain i had to stop. I once again am able to do 90kg pain free. I am sitting at 5reps per hand right now. The successful rep can be a one rep max on either hand to count as successful criteria for a YES resolution. I will be following a 3 month program where I will bridging from 90kg to 110kg in this time span. I will document every month so you have info to bet properly during this small journey. The first update will be once I hit 8 reps on 90kg and then once more at 10 reps. Finally during December which is the bridge period i will document each week until the new years.

Resolution criteria

This market resolves to YES if I successfully perform a complete close of a 110kg (250lbs) steel hand gripper for at least one repetition on either my left or right hand on or before January 1, 2027.

This market resolves to NO if I do not successfully close the 110kg gripper by the end of January 1, 2027.

Background

I have been training with steel hand grippers and previously achieved a personal record of 10 reps per hand at 90kg (200lbs). After taking time off to recover from a strain, I am currently back to performing 5 pain-free reps at 90kg per hand.

Over the next three months, I am following a structured program to bridge my grip strength from 90kg to 110kg. I will post progress updates to this market at the following milestones:

• When I reach 8 reps at 90kg

• When I reach 10 reps at 90kg

• Weekly updates throughout December during the final progression phase
