North Macedonia is currently a member candidate to enter the European Union, and in order to join the European Union, each member has to go through a process known as ascension. On June 23rd the EU-Western Balkan leaders' summit would decide if North Macedonia can begin the process. This question resolves positively if North Macedonia gets vetoed and doesn't start the ascension process.
