Paramount is currently attempting to complete a merger with Skydance.

Bill Owens, longtime executive producer of 60 Minutes, resigned recently, citing a loss of independence. The FCC is also demanding Paramount abstain from diversity initiatives.

The merger is currently in a 90-day extension, which will end on July 6th. Will the Paramount-Skydance merger be approved before July 13th?
