Resolution criteria

This market will resolve to the date on which Liquid AI publicly releases an "LFM3" model or specifically announces its commercial availability. For the purpose of this market, "release" is defined as the date the model becomes accessible via an official Liquid AI platform, API, or public announcement channel (e.g., liquid.ai).

If Liquid AI announces that an "LFM3" model will not be released, or if the company ceases operations, the market will resolve to N/A.

Background

Liquid AI is an MIT-spinoff startup focused on creating "Liquid Foundation Models" (LFMs) based on a non-transformer architecture rooted in dynamical systems, signal processing, and numerical linear algebra. The company launched its first generation of models—LFM-1B, LFM-3B, and LFM-40B—on September 30, 2024. As of early 2026, the company has also referenced an "LFM2" family of models in its marketing materials. "LFM3" is understood to be a future iteration in their model development roadmap.
