GM Brandon Jacobson claims to be behind the Viih_Sou chess.com account that was recently banned after a series of online Blitz matches where it was "sacrificing a rook on the second move" (Nb: actually an exchange for a bishop).
Speculation abounds. Was the player cheating? Were they just experienced in the lines? Did chess.com err in banning the account?
Resolves YES if the account gets unbanned between now and the end of the year, even if it gets banned again.
