Background
In 2022, 57% of Portland voters approved changes to the city charter that will transition the city government to ranked-choice voting, a 12-member city council elected by district, and a mayor elected citywide to oversee services with a city administrator. Each district will elect three council members using multi-winner ranked-choice voting.
While candidate registration does not open until 5 June, several prospective candidates have filed a campaign committee with the state. Market options may be subject to change. [0]

Market Resolution
This is a forecasting market. Market will close when polls close (8 PM PST, 5 Nov 2024).
Options will resolve based on certified results from the Portland City Elections Office. In case of an automatic recount (triggered if the vote difference is under 0.002% as per Oregon Law [1]), the market will follow the recount results. If certified results face a later recount, a new subsequent market will be established.
Disclaimer
I do not bet in markets I create to avoid motivated reasoning. In the event that I am unable or unavailable to resolve a market, the market may be resolved my Manifold Mods. Any changes to the market description will be noted in the change log.
