To be resolved after EAGxBerlin according to my own subjective judgement.

I will resolve YES if I get noticeably less annoyed by Swapcard than last year. This includes the mobile app and the web version.

How did this go?

@OllieBase I resolved it at 70%, because

  • I did not experience major bugs

  • I noticed a few UX improvements, like popups when booking a session during a proposed 1:1

but my issues from last year weren't really addressed, specifically

  • It's difficult to get an overview of your options when planning your day

  • You can't bookmark overlapping events

  • somebody told me that data from the registration form wasn't properly synced with Swapcard

predictedYES

@LudwigBald Nice!

FYI you can give input to Swapcard developments here (link to event slack)

Also, the last part about syncing is probably our fault, not Swapcard's. We port that data across and Swapcard just displays it.

What has annoyed you about it?

@AndriSoone As I can remember: It was slow to load, it did not have a good UX for planning my time, After registering for a session I had to manually block the time for 1-1s, there was no overview that included both my registered sessions and planned meetings.

As a consequence, I always had different tabs of Swapcard open in my phone's mobile browser.

Less important, but still suboptimal: The UI felt a bit clunky overall, event chat was barely usable.
