Resolution criteria

This market resolves to the calendar date (UTC) of the next official global Codex usage-limit reset or broad banked reset grant issued to paid OpenAI Codex users, occurring after October 20, 2026.

• Qualifying event: The reset must be a community-wide or tier-wide grant (e.g., across Plus, Pro, or Business users), whether issued as an immediate limit refresh or as a granted banked reset. An individual user's personal, rolling 7-day quota rollover anchored to their own first request does not qualify.

• Primary sources: An official announcement from OpenAI, public confirmation from OpenAI Codex lead Thibault Sottiaux on X, or consensus reporting from public Codex reset trackers such as OpenTheRank or codex-reset.com.

• Date determination: Resolves to the UTC date when the reset is officially announced or when propagation begins, whichever occurs first.
