I will resolve the market such that the number of shares a country gets is proportional to how safe I would feel there in terms of my rights and healthcare
Submit answers in the form of a country name only. The country must speak English as a primary (but not necessarily only) language
For the purposes of this question, the UK nations count separately
The Equality Index has a ranking - I don't know if it's 100% accurate, but it is comprehensive. It's technically measuring rights for all queer people, not just trans people, but the correlation between a country's acceptance of gay people and its acceptance of trans people is probably very, very high.
For various English-speaking countries (higher number is better; score out of 100):
Canada: 90 (second-most accepting country on the planet, after Iceland; absolutely tracks with my own experiences visiting British Columbia. If I have to flee the U.S., this is where I'll go.)
U.S.: 85 (presumably higher in blue states and much lower in red states)
Australia: 84
U.K.: 82 (presumably higher in Scotland, lower in England & Northern Ireland - IDK about Wales)
New Zealand: 78
South Africa: 74
Ireland: 73
Fiji: 72
Belize: 66
Bahamas: 51
Guyana: 26
Jamaica: 26
If I had to guess at a ranking that includes the individual countries of the U.K., then it would probably be something like: Canada #1, Scotland #2, U.S. (blue/purple states) #3, Australia #4, Wales #5, New Zealand #6, England #7, South Africa #8, Ireland #10, Northern Ireland #11, Fiji #12, U.S. (red states) #13, Belize #14, Bahamas #15, Jamaica #16, Guyana #17.
