The SynBioBeta conference in May 2023 announced Thomas Middleditch as a speaker. The conference otherwise features speakers from life science/ biotech companies.

Middleditch was accused of sexual misconduct in 2021. The most likely avenue I see for his slot being withdrawn is via a demand from the SynBioBeta community.
