There seems to have been a recent and marked shift in content being recommended in instagram reels in the past 24hrs to some users.

On reading the cnbc article, despite being ambiguous, I feel “Algorithmic errors or updates” best describes the cause, given the error the error occurred ~1month after the Jan 7th statement of updates to the moderation policy, a dit is referred to as an Error that was fixed by meta.
