@KongoLandwalker If you were really dedicated, you would simply break into the staircase and use it anyway.
As someone who recently failed my own self-improvement market challenge (fixing my sleep schedule within a week), I know how hard it can be. I hope you succeed, but I gotta be realistic, especially given your recent comment about the second floor of the mall, which I'd imagine would greatly increase the temptation of breaking an arbitrary, self-imposed challenge for immediate, pragmatic ends (there's something on the second floor you want).
@Dfe2f I am quite competitive. Instead of breaking a rule for an instant gratification I am more likely to go into another country by foot and buying the thing I want there.
The most probable way I lose the challenge: I forget about limitations.
The second: I recieve some urgent task which could not be predicted by me, because if I could predict, then I would likely get up earlier to start walking towards the destination.
I found out that the second floor of mall is unreachable. The building has irregular structure. I can go to the fifth floor using the outside evacuation stairs (always open) then go down couple floors using internal stairs, but those stairs connect only 5 to 3. Looks like I will not buy anything from the second floor this year.
@Joshua Yeah, this seems really hard. Or what if you have to get somewhere within 5 km very urgently?
