Resolution criteria

This market will resolve to YES if Kylian Mbappé officially announces his permanent retirement from professional club football, with the retirement taking official effect on or before April 30, 2027.

Otherwise, this market will resolve to NO.

Clarifications & Edge Cases:

• International Retirement: Retiring only from international duty (the French national team) while continuing his active club career (with Real Madrid or any other professional club) will resolve this market to NO.

• Timing: If Mbappé announces a retirement that is scheduled to take effect after April 30, 2027 (for example, at the conclusion of the 2026–2027 European football season in May or June 2027), this market will resolve to NO.

• Inactivity: A temporary hiatus, long-term injury, contract dispute, suspension, or period as a free agent without a formal retirement announcement will not count as retirement.

• Source of Truth: Resolution will be determined based on official announcements from Kylian Mbappé, his representatives, Real Madrid, or definitive reporting from major, reputable sports media outlets (such as The Athletic, L'Équipe, or ESPN).
