Wikipedia article appears stabilized. Figures given are 220 000 in Gironde and Landes combined, of which Gironde has more than one and a half million population and Landes around 400 000, whereas Bordeaux metropolis has barely over 800 000 population. I feel confident that 150 000 were not evacuated from specifically the metropolitan Bordeaux region. While it would be ideal to have specific numbers for the Bordeaux Metropolitan area, I am satisfied to resolve this NO.
@JussiVilleHeiskanen Additionally, from the list of communes affected, it seems only a handful of them were withing Metropolitan Bordeaux.
@traders have patience, I am virtually certain I will resolve this NO, but I will wait a reasonable time to have access to post mortem analysis that may give clear figures.
