The 2023/24 iteration of the World Rugby Sevens Series follows a new format.

12 teams compete over 8 events, the last of which will be a 'Grant Final' event between the top 8 teams to that point.

Resolves YES to each team that qualifies for the Grand Final event for the 2023/24 season.

The bottom 4 teams playoff in a promotion relegation event alongside teams who did not qualify into the original 12 to setup the 2024/25 iteration of the event.

UPDATE 02/11 NZT: this market no longer resolves an equal share to each of the top eight, it will resolve YES for all teams which qualify. Thanks @JoshuaWilkes for the tip-off.

Here's the pools for the grand final event in Madrid

Here is the latest update after 2 tournaments completed

I think there's an error here. If each of the eight qualifying teams gets 12.5% then the totals should sum to 100, but actually they are all independent markets

@JoshuaWilkes I am open to changing how I resolve this. I saw there's a new way to resolve yes or no for each option (at least to me it's new) but I hadn't really thought enough about the mechanics of how betting and resolving that way works... Are the probabilities each independent i.e. a yes bet on one won't reduce the probability of another?

I guess you may want to say bet yes on a team and not have the reduce your bet on another.

Ok changing the resolution as a bit of learning for myself to see how it drives

It's basically a whole bunch of yes/nos consolidated into one place then really isn't it

@JulianLees exactly. this new style is intended to allow multiple answers to resolve to 100%
