Resolves YES if a hurricane or tropical storm beginning in the Pacific Ocean makes landfall in any US state, excluding Hawaii and Alaska. Resolves NO if it impacts a state but does not make landfall in the US (aka landfall Mexico or Canada), or if no tropical storms of hurricanes impact the continental US in this time period.
