Visit must take place during game time.

  • Update 2025-05-28 (PST) (AI summary of creator comment): The creator has clarified the interpretation of place answers:

    • Nodes (stations where at least three Korail Pass pathways intersect) are being added by the creator as specific answer options.

    • Existing answers that represent broader geographical units (e.g., cities, provinces) are now labelled as such, and are considered distinct from specific stations/nodes.

  • Update 2025-06-11 (PST) (AI summary of creator comment): For all locations, including stations and geographical units, passing through the location counts as visiting it.

  • Update 2025-06-11 (PST) (AI summary of creator comment): The creator has clarified the timing for resolving individual locations:

    • A location will be marked as visited in this market only after the visit has been shown on YouTube.

Can we resolve the ones already covered in Episode 1?

@Sahaj My standard policy for all Jet Lag questions is to resolve after things have shown on YouTube

@JoshuaWilkes Alright. Ignore my comments on the other market as well then. Lmk is you want me to delete.

@Sahaj it's fine

bought Ṁ80 YES

Accidently made an option. "ignore"

Just to clarify: passing through a location counts as visiting it for all locations that are either stations or geographical units

I'm going to call my shot:

The first blockers are going to go first to Osong from Yongsan. I think they have to.

The first snaker will probably* head to Jecheon.

In response, the blockers will drop something at Osong and then head to Dongdaegu, potentially dropping something else at Daejeon on the way. Assuming that that the snaker has indeed gone towards Jecheon, this is also basically their only sensible move.

At this point the snaker has their first real decision. They could go southwest on a number of routes and try and "break through" the HSR and whatever roadblocks the blockers have left. But because of they will be on slower trains and the blockers can move up and down the HSR faster, they would probably be waiting, presumably with a battle challenge.

So instead, the snaker will head up to Donghae, and then down to Seogyeongju, effectively trying to lock in an early long snake.

The snaker will know that the blockers will be waiting for them at Seogyeongju, but in fact the blockers should move up the line one stop and battle challenge the snaker before he gets there and completes the segment at Seogyeongju's node, likely dramatically shortening the snake.

This is where the first snake will end, and presumably the first episode as well.

*If I am wrong, I think it will be because the snaker in fact decides to force an early confrontation by following the sneakers down the HSR and trying to get past them to open up the map and potentially win from the first move. But this feels much higher risk.

Does anyone object to me resolving locations outside of South Korea to NO?

@JoshuaWilkes I do not

Okay.

Now we know that "nodes" exist.

Nodes are places where at least three different pathways that a person with a Korail Pass could travel on intersect.

I have gone through this map and tried to add all the interesting nodes that I can find.

In the Layover they said that it's very hard to find an accurate map, and to identify the nodes. So presumably I have missed some and added some there are not. But at least the paces I have added should be stations.

I have also gone back over the old answers and clarified that they refer to areas/divisions rather than specific stations/nodes.

@JoshuaWilkes this is a still taken from the trailer (via Reddit) which shows a lot of the nodes

@IanDevilibiss just removing the country for formating reasons ;)
