Resolves to all that are true. I will add more as the season progresses.

I may bet unless something appears or becomes subjective, in which case I will not bet. If something unexpectedly becomes subjective after I've already established a position I will outsource resolution if necessary.

I don't promise to watch so religiously that I don't miss any of these, so bettors should proactively seek resolutions, but I do promise to go back and check time stamps if provided.

I will close this set of questions the day before the finale is broadcast on Nebula, and will not resolve until it has been shown on YouTube. Obviously information will have been transferred in many markets before then, so participate at your own risk of spoilers.

Likewise individual markets will resolve after relevant evidence is on YouTube.

In general, events must appear on screen to count. If footage or audio is lost but the episode still confirms it took place and mattered that would count, but referring to something happening in a way that makes it clear not showing it was an editorial choice would not count.

In this context, physical location or mode of transport always matters.

Things we see or here during the 'outro' where the producers talk directly to camera in a studio setting do not count, unless specified.

Likewise anything shown in an outtakes episode.

* Before the finale is broadcast on Nebula. Either a link or a screenshot.

**Or a recognisable variant of it

** * In a way that impacts the game

**** This is defined as the team which doesn't make the tag not needing to use public transport to reach the runner at the time of the tag (I reserve the right to adjust this definition if the introduce specific rules for this kind of eventuality, within the spirit of the answer)

***** a freeze dodge is when the running team uses the freeze power-up at short range to allow them to leave a location where a chasing team has caught up to them at

  • Update 2025-09-17 (PST) (AI summary of creator comment): Amy from Wendover Productions is mentioned

    • Counts only if the mention occurs within gameplay.

    • Does not need to be spoken by a contestant; narration or on-screen text/graphics during gameplay are acceptable.

    • Mentions in credits or post-credits do not count.

  • Update 2025-09-24 (PST) (AI summary of creator comment): - Short range (freeze dodge): Both teams are near the same station; using freeze to pin the chasing team in place there qualifies.

    • Season 2 example: The attempt in Season 2 does not count as a freeze dodge, regardless of whether it succeeded.

  • Update 2025-10-02 (PST) (AI summary of creator comment): - For the "A Deutche Bahn train is delayed" item, a cancellation counts as a delay.

  • Update 2025-10-04 (PST) (AI summary of creator comment): - Applies to the item: "This season has more than five episodes."

    • Count episodes by Nebula's official episode numbering.

    • Specials (Nebula-only or YouTube) do not count as episodes.

    • Example: If the win is in Ep 5 and additional gameplay is released as Ep 6 on Nebula, resolve YES; if extra gameplay appears only as a special, resolve NO.

  • Update 2025-10-15 (PST) (AI summary of creator comment): For questions involving team lineage/descendants:

    • Sochelle is treated as the lineal descendant team of Soby

    • Brendam is treated as the lineal descendant team of Bren

    • In mechanical terms, this is equivalent to treating Sochelle and Brendam as new teams (rather than as descendants of the team that was running immediately before them)

  • Update 2025-10-30 (PST) (AI summary of creator comment): Creator intends to resolve all remaining unanswered items to NO unless traders identify errors within a few days of this announcement.

  • Update 2025-10-30 (PST) (AI summary of creator comment): For the riddle-related item: The puzzle box itself does not count as a riddle, but a riddle inside the box would count.

I think that all the others answers resolve NO. Please let me know if I am wrong. You have some days.

@JoshuaWilkes There was a challenge that I remember reading as a riddle to me. If it was the lampshade one, that shouldn't count, but I'm not sure that it was. Did the puzzle box have anything riddle-like?

@SimonWestlake I will review it. The box itself doesn't count as a riddle per se, but obviously there could have been one inside.

@SimonWestlake I would like to understand why you have bet this up so high before I bet it down.

@JoshuaWilkes After the win, this became simply a bet of whether Bendam gets caught, right? It seemed very very likely to me that that would happen, with a full day and a half left.

@SimonWestlake No, because the team who were runners before them were Adam and Michelle. I intend to resolve this question with Sochelle being the lineal descendant team of Soby and Brendam being the lineal descendant of Bren (which in mechanical terms is the same as treating Sochelle and Brendam as new teams).

@JoshuaWilkes please DM for clarification if you think you don't understand this

@JoshuaWilkes

I will make a comment below

@JoshuaWilkes the comment will imply a spoiler, so try not to read it if you are on YouTube time

@JoshuaWilkes reminder to all that we don't post information before it's shown on YouTube, even though we bet on it

@JoshuaWilkes

If a team gets to the their end location before day three, I suspect that there will still be gameplay in day three.

Adam has previously stated that in a comparable past situation than didn't transpire, he believed they would have released that footage as a Nebula-only special, not as part of the season.

If something similar happens, this will resolve based on the number of episodes according to how nebula counts them. So if a team wins in episode 5, then there is more gameplay but it happens in an episode 6, this will resolve YES. But if there is more gameplay and it's in a Nebula special, or a YouTube special, this will resolve NO.

@JoshuaWilkes I assume a cancellation counts for this

@JoshuaWilkes The Amy's Treasure Box challenge card was displayed during the explanation in episode 1.

@JoshuaWilkes Did this happen in episode 1?

Yes, but I'd have to go back and look to find it.

I think it's actually near the start of episode 2

What counts as "short range" for the freeze dodge?

@aaaasterism something like in episode one, where a freeze would be used to pin a chasing team in place when both teams are near the same station.

I will just stay that I don't consider what was attempted in season two to have counted, irrespective of their success or not

@JoshuaWilkes episode 2

How are the "This season has more than X episodes" resolved? I just want to double check cause I find it this wording to be a bit strange. Does it mean the same as "This season at least X+1 episodes" or equivalently "This season has X+1 or more episodes?"

@Quirk it means "This season at least X+1 episodes"
