I just want to say, for clarity: I don't think Adam and Ben "missed" the flight they didn't take when they did the drunk mile instead. They chose not to take it.

the only way I think this can resolve yes is if one of the teams takes a nonstop to la, which seems very unlikely

if they drive/take a train that stops in a state does that count

@lag actually my intention when I wrote it was that if a car or train passes through without stopping it would also count. As long as they are in contact with the ground - not flying

I don't think this will happen cause the only flights out of utqiagvik go to Anchorage and no flights to from Anchorage go to Whitehorse/vancouver

What does (canonically) mean in this context?

@Kraalnaxx in some way the show makes it clear that he is drunk, not just drinking.

For example, if there was a challenge Drink a Pina Colada in the Rain this would not auto resolve to YES unless Ben is also shown to be visibly drunk, or him being drunk is referenced verbally in the show or on Layover

Whereas, if the challenge says Get Drunk... it will auto resolve to YES (I think this is the more likely scenario)
