This market will resolve to "Yes" if any listed member of the British Royal Family or their representative(s) officially states the video footage of Kate Middleton released on March 18 is fake (see https://www.tmz.com/2024/03/18/kate-middleton-seen-new-video-windsor-farm-shop-prince-william/). Otherwise, this market will resolve to "No".

The resolution date for this market is June 30, 2024, 11:59 PM PT.

The members of the royal family that count toward this market's resolution are as follows: King Charles III, Queen Camilla, Prince William, Princess Catherine, Princess Anne, Prince Edward, Duchess Sophie.

The primary resolution source is official statements from the British Royal Family and/or their official representative(s), however a consensus of credible reporting will also be used to determine whether they made any such statements.

@MichelleDavidson Happy to see my limit orders being filled! Was there anything in particular that convinced you the video was fake? Would love to be convinced, it would be very funny if this was true. But my prior is that Twitter is very bad at determining the truth in situations like this.

@Joshua Agreed on X. But, it still offers information that is not heavily censored. Human nature suggests that if you could make a buck on taking a video and having tabloids pitted against each other in a bidding war then why not fake it? Also, the video itself suggests a more youthful and taller Kate. Hardforksโ€™ take on the last fake photo is a good one- the public may not be as easily deceived by deep fakes as once thought.

I suppose I have to respect that
