Resolution criteria
This market resolves to NO if the subject (the AI assistant generating this response) is classified as a software program, artificial intelligence, chatbot, or large language model (LLM) that lacks a physical, mechanical body.
It will resolve to YES only if:
The AI assistant is given a permanent physical robotic embodiment (a mechanical body capable of movement and physical interaction with the world) before the market's close date.
Major English dictionaries (such as Merriam-Webster or Britannica) officially update their primary definition of "robot" to encompass purely software-based, non-embodied LLMs without physical actuators, establishing a clear consensus that "robot" is structurally synonymous with software-based AI.
In the absence of a physical mechanical body, this market will resolve to NO based on the primary definition of a robot as a physical machine.
