The way this works out in practice is that if any bank or regulated exchange has the slightest suspicion that one of their customers might be up to something shady, they summarily ban them and refuse to give any explanation why. This goes against the spirit of the due process clause and civil rights law. This is an unconstitutional use of the government to coerce private companies into doing things that the government would not have the authority to do directly — the “hiring a hitman makes it not murder” theory of jurisprudence.

The same goes for congress trying to coerce social media companies into censoring more - since it would be unconstitutional for the government to censor directly, it’s unconstitutional for the government to force the private sector to censor.
