Resolves YES if there's official confirmation from the showrunners or Netflix itself that a 3rd season is greenlit, before the end of 2028. Resolves NO if the show is canceled. In the unlikely case that production is then picked up by another company, the market will be re-resolved!

Per Hollywood Reporter, the show will end with Season 2. Notably, this choice seems to have been made some time before Gaiman was MeToo'd; S1 was only a modest hit, and the production was very expensive. But there's no way it would have been extended, in hindsight. At least the showrunners have a chance to tie off the threads.
Oh gotcha. So if Netflix confirms that it is cancelled before then, you'll close it. That makes sense. I was thinking Netflix might just leave it in limbo for a long time due to the Neil Gaiman controversy but at the same time not wanting to give up the Sandman IP in case they feel like they can still use it in the future.
