1,000It probably makes sense to visit a doc, not just for the correct physical alignment (via X-ray) but also to be prescribed inflammation meds and supplements for faster healing of the joint pads.
It's hard to be conclusive about the arthritis link later in life without knowing the severity of the injury. Could be ok.
Why would you hesitate to go to the doctor? Are you located in the US?
@prismatic splint is only in use intermittently. Range of motion is like 70%, but it’s still a bit seollen. Hasn’t fallen off yet!
@CraigDemel it popped back in after about ten seconds. Iced and elevated it and taped then splinted it.
