Will Better Man's first week box office gross in the United States exceed $44.5 million (Joker: Folie à Deux's first week)?
Resolution will be based on the first 7 days of box office receipts as reported by Box Office Mojo.

Update 2025-02-09 (PST) (AI summary of creator comment): New Clarification on Resolution Criteria:
Data Source: The resolution will use data from Box Office Mojo's dailies tab rather than the weekly tab.
Time Period: The first 7 days considered are from December 25 to December 31 (as reported in the dailies).
Revenue Calculation: Revenue is based on the sum of daily receipts over this period, not on the potentially flawed weekly tab totals.

@AngelR I was gonna give creator a day to confirm if it was a mistake so we can unresolve but this should have been NO
According to https://www.boxofficemojo.com/release/rl3881074689/, the first 7 days are Dec 25 to Dec 31, which add up to $45,711. The https://www.boxofficemojo.com/release/rl3881074689/weekly however, counts Dec 20 to 26th but only comes out to be $16,572, which is the sum of the Dec 25th and Dec 26th data. I am calling the weekly tab of that site flawed and will go off of the first 7 days from the dailies tab instead.
This means it did exceed Joker: Folie à Deux's first week take. Congrats, whoever made Betterman!
@JohnCheng the title says “million”, and joker’s gross Is in millions, but better man’s gross is in thousands. This is an mis-resolution. Do you want me to unresolve it? (Or I can send for
Mod review) . .
@Ziddletwix You're right! Thanks for catching that. I was clearly wrong. I'm not sure how to change to resolution though
FWIW, thenumbers currently lists it as a "platform release", i.e. in a small number of markets before expanding, in which case its first week may be pretty small. not sure if that listing is accurate
(Better man’s total, cumulative worldwide gross is around 20 million. Domestic is whats relevant for this question, at 2 million. The title, description, and the stated comparison to joker all require it to be in the millions, not thousands.)
