The GHC Haskell compiler started to define language editions (https://github.com/ghc-proposals/ghc-proposals/blob/master/proposals/0372-ghc-extensions.rst#motivation), and so far GHC2021 has been defined. It is currently debated if there should be a GHC2023.
This will resolve positively if by January 31 AoE, a proposal defining a GHC2023 language extension has been accepted (merged into the ghc-proposals repository).
