Where did we drop the ball? The point of this isn't to point fingers or assign blame, but rather to identify where our processes and strategy are not serving us well.
Mostly, this market is for the Manifold team; don't expect the probabilities, etc to mean much other than like a subjective vote on how much you agree with a particular statement, or how much you want to discuss it.

[A] We're missing something because people aren't writing up much of their thoughts on Manifold as posts. Need to get more content.
[F] More stand alone posts have been created. Have been featuring them. Could make them easier to create.
[A] In the newsletter we could feature posts. Could create the newsletter in a post!
[D] Impossible to find posts. Post doesn't appear in the latest posts of group.
@JamesGrugett Posts need more discoverability. Once they are not featured they basically end in the void.
Posts are also hard to share well. One of the reasons I keep advocating support for ActivityPub on Manifold is that it would make it much easier to share on Mastodon & the like. Users would be able to interact with the posts/markets without making an account, which lowers the barrier of entry quite a bit
[J] Did some profiling, takes a few hundred milliseconds
In the app, you expect it to be fast when clicking on notifs. But it's incredibly slow. Homepage to Notifications takes a while to destroy divs? Rerendering a few more times while navigating away from home. Perf in general is really important, we have to keep coming back and make perf better.
Portfolio page is better now that iw chagned it to not load a billion data points.
