Recently Microsoft announced their DALL E powered generative image editor called Microsoft designer.

By the end of 2024 will a major tech company (Microsoft, Amazon, Meta, Alphabet, Baidu, Adobe, Samsung etc) release a generative video editor? This is not a question of what will be possible but rather what will have been released by a major tech company. Note that open-source versions from the research community, https://stability.ai/ etc do not count.

Features can include any of the following:

• Text to video generator

• Editing of an existing video with text prompts. (For example, remove the person in the background and replace them with an elephant).

• Text-guided video inpainting (For example, the user manually paints over a specific person then asks for an elephant to be placed there).
