Resolves YES if any completed game of the 2026 MLB World Series ends on a walk-off.
A walk-off is when the home team scores the go-ahead run in the bottom of the 9th inning or any extra inning, and the game ends immediately because of that run. It counts whether the run scores on a hit, walk, hit-by-pitch, error, balk, wild pitch, passed ball, sacrifice fly, groundout, or any other play.
It does not count if:
the home team was already ahead and does not bat in the bottom of the 9th
the winning run scores in the top of an inning
the walk-off is in the ALCS, NLCS, or any other series
Source: the official MLB.com box score for that World Series game. The final line must show the home team scoring the winning run in the bottom half of an inning numbered 9 or higher.
If the 2026 World Series is cancelled before Game 1, this resolves N/A. If the series starts and is then abandoned, it resolves YES if a completed game already had a walk-off; otherwise N/A.
