Background

Stage 21 of the 2026 Tour de France takes place on July 26, 2026, spanning 132.5 km from Thoiry to the Champs-Élysées in Paris. While the final stage of the Tour has historically been a ceremonial procession concluding in a classic bunch sprint, the inclusion of the cobbled climb of the Côte de la Butte Montmartre in the final laps has created opportunities for late breakaway attacks. Resolution criteria

This market will resolve to YES if Stage 21 of the 2026 Tour de France (scheduled for July 26, 2026) is won in a sprint finish. It will resolve to NO if the stage is won by a solo rider crossing the line alone.

Resolution will be determined primarily by the "Won how" metric on the ProCyclingStats Stage 21 page:

• YES: If the "Won how" metric is recorded as "bunchsprint", "sprint of small group", "sprint-à-deux", or a similar classification indicating a multi-rider sprint finish.

• NO: If the "Won how" metric is recorded as "solo" (e.g. Wout's victory last year is listed as "Won how: 6.4 km solo").

Fallback Rule: If ProCyclingStats does not publish this specific data or is unavailable, resolution will be based on official race results and video footage from the official Tour de France website (https://www.letour.fr/). A sprint finish requires at least two riders to actively contest the victory side-by-side or in close proximity at the line. If the winner crosses the finish line alone with a clear gap to second place, the market will resolve to NO.
