Resolution criteria

  • Resolves YES if, in the 2025–26 Premier League season (15 Aug 2025–24 May 2026), Manchester City fail to record a league win across both scheduled league matches (home and away) against at least one newly promoted club. Draw+draw, draw+loss, or loss+loss vs any one of the promoted sides qualifies. Cup matches do not count. Verification via the Premier League’s 2025–26 fixtures/results. (premierleague.com)

  • Resolves NO once City have recorded at least one Premier League win against each of the three promoted clubs, and no league fixtures remain against them. Early resolution: YES as soon as City complete both league meetings against any promoted side without a win; NO as soon as City have beaten all three promoted sides at least once and no further league meetings remain. (premierleague.com)

Background

  • Newly promoted clubs for 2025–26 are Leeds United, Burnley, and Sunderland (Leeds and Burnley via automatic promotion; Sunderland via the play-offs). (premierleague.com, en.wikipedia.org)

  • Premier League has 38 matchweeks; each club plays home and away against every opponent. Official 2025–26 dates: 15 Aug 2025–24 May 2026. (premierleague.com)

Considerations

  • Fixture dates can shift for TV/European commitments; only the outcomes matter. Use the Premier League fixtures/results page for authoritative confirmation at resolution time. (premierleague.com)

@mods Deleted creator account. Looks like it should resolve no to me, they beat all three at least once. (Could have resolved 6 Dec 2025 AFAICS)
