Vingegaard got 142 points, Van der Poel (133), Pogačar (126)

Supposedly the vote totals.

I'd like to give the Vélo Magazine the award for the worst jury of the century for this result.

I see this has held pretty static for a while at 70 MVDP, 25 Pogacar. Can anyone present reasoning for why Pogacar remains at 25%? I am tempted to bet more No on him and more Yes on MVDP but I'm also relatively happy with my current positions.

Pogacar - 2 monuments, 2nd TDF, some WT races, 3rd Worlds

MVDP - 2 monuments, 1st Worlds, 2nd RVV

If MVDP was missing one monument or Worlds, I would have thought Pogacar to be a lock. But 2 monuments and Worlds in the same year is really quite a special season. Pogacar has also won it in the past and it seems like you don't need to win the TDF to win it (sorry Jonas).

Unless they're biased toward Pogacar, it kind of feels like MVDP should be more like 90%?

I am a little surprised Pogacar did not get a bump from Lombardia. I guess we're all set on MVDP then?

@Eliza thinking more about it, Tadej was much more regular across the whole year, so putting a little bit more on Tadej

If Roglic wins Lombardia does he put himself right back into this conversation?

@Eliza MVDP = Two rainbow jerseys & San Remo

Okay, I don't think it's actually going to be Sepp because the pattern seems to pretty much be WC or Yellow Jersey, but, hey.

@JCE But he was on three winning GT teams and was the winner of the last…so he’s worth consideration.

@Iamczecksy Yea, and given how media leaned on JV. I don’t know if Velo bends similarly.
