So far, Apple is the only FAANG company who has not performed layoffs in the latter half of 2021 or thus far in 2022.
Resolves to YES if wikipedia-reliable news sources report layoffs at Apple between now and June 30th, and the layoffs include 500 or more US employees (not contractors) in non-retail divisions.
(Retail layoffs are already in progress, and therefore would not make an interesting prediction market.)

I have seen numerous reports of a "small number" of corporate layoffs (confusingly, on the retail team) occurred sometime in April, but not as a cost-cutting measure. There were no numbers attached. I have checked the California WARN website and Apple has not issued a WARN notice this year, indicating that fewer than 50 CA employees were affected.
