Background

This question was inspired by "Don't Learn to Code" advice from this tech CEO (timestamp 7:01) by Alberta Tech.

So if you want to learn to code, you should learn to code. And listen, if you vehemently disagree with me, feel free to follow along. We can check back with each other in a year's time. I've been making critical tech content online for quite a few years now. I was a web three hater. I was a cryptocurrency hater. Now, I guess, I'm an AI hater. We'll see what ends up happening. You know, feel free to leave a comment if I end up being horribly wrong, and I will make a crying and apologizing video just for you.

Terms

1. I will judge what qualifies as a crying and apologizing video.

2. I will not bet on this question.

3. A crying and apologizing video must feature Alberta Tech apologizing, saying sorry, expressing remorse, or confessing guilt in some emotionally charged way. For example, an easy-going correction would not count.

4. A crying and apologizing video does not have to be sincere. I'm not going to litigate whether tears are crocodile tears. I just have to believe that Alberta Tech wants her audience to believe it is sincere. For example, a parody crying and apologizing video does not count.

5. A crying and apologizing video does not need to show tears.

6. The subject of the crying and apologizing video does not matter. It does not have to be about web three, cryptocurrency, or AI.
