• No: YouTube does not release a feature that allows users to automatically generate video summaries using AI by the end of 2025.

Additional notes:

• The resolution will be based on the official announcements and product releases from YouTube e.g. https://blog.youtube/news-and-events/.

• It does not need to support all videos:

  • e.g. If YouTube releases an AI-powered video summarization feature that is only available for short videos/ popular videos, the resolution would be Yes.

• If YouTube releases an AI-powered video summarization feature but it is not available for use by the end of 2024, the resolution would be No.
