A Theory of Everything (ToE) is a theoretical framework in physics that aims to unify and explain all fundamental forces and particles in the universe within a single, coherent structure. It seeks to provide a comprehensive understanding of the underlying principles governing the cosmos, bridging the gap between quantum mechanics and general relativity.

The question at hand pertains to the minimum possible dimensionality required for a ToE to be considered complete.

This addresses the hypothetical scenario in which a unified theory is established before 2040.

Resolves N/A if there is no ToE realized in 2040.

If the concept of dimentionnality get somehow disrupted or useless in the theory, making dimentionnality a secondary concept, will resolve 0.

What if there are multiple formulations with different numbers of dimensions, all equivalent to each other? You will split between those?

If there are no dimensions in the theory (only in its limits towards low energies, for example), will you resolve 0?

@Irigi If both theory can be considered complete and equivalent, I will choose the one with fewer dimention. The reason for this is to follow Occam's Razor logic, where simple solution often provide better answer to the question.

And yes, you guessed right, the 0 answer is here in case the concept of dimentionnality get somehow disrupted or useless in the theory (tbh I strongly suspect that ∞ dimention is way more plausible than 0 in this kind of cases, but who knows ...)

I will resolve 0 only if the 0 dimention part is fundamentally at the core of the theory and is the ground to explain the rest of the theory and dimentions are then more like a secondary concept of the theory.
