Resolution Criteria

This market resolves yes if I participate in the International Physics Olympiad (IPhO) in 2026. The market resolves on the date the official team rosters are announced.

Important: If for whatever reason the USA does not participate in IPhO, this market resolves to participation in the European Physics Olympiad (EuPhO) instead.

Background

The International Physics Olympiad and European Physics Olympiad are annual physics competitions for high school students, with countries selecting teams of up to five students to compete.

I am in the USA.

I am a junior.

I qualified for the training camp last year, where I placed in the top half on TST's. I have studied moderately since then.

It is unlikely that the US will not participate in IPhO given that in 2024 (the last year where this happened), this information was announced in August of the year prior.
