I'm confused to how this actually resolves. Can you clarify:

result = answer

Fail = Yes

Pass = No

Merit = No + Merit

Excellence = No + Merit

edit: I must be serously misunderstanding because merit is so much higher than the others

edit2: I had it reversed, updated to swap yes/no

What is the max score that account for failed? (European here)

@notbayesian It's difficult to explain the new zealand curriculm but it should be about 70% of the achieved questions to get an achieved 50% of the merit questions on top of that to get merit and 50% of excellence questions on top of both of those to get excellence
