Context: Started exactly 2 weeks ago, unemployed & bored. Bought my seat for the Feb2026 exam on July 7th. I bought calculators & started studying on July 14.

I have some prior knowledge (Bachelor of Finance) from 2021.

So far, I'm ~10% of the way through the curriculum (nearly finished Quant). I have spent 42 hours actively studying.

I'm almost certain I wouldn't maintain this pace if I were working (though, the search does take some of my time, too). I'm looking for something specific, super fun, or that pays exceptionally well. I have applied for >50 jobs in the last 60 days.

I will only bet Yes. Normal pass rate is ~40%, it was ~45% for Feb2025.
